We provide self-publishing support services to authors. The specific scope, timeline, and cost of any Service will be agreed upon between you and us in a quote, proposal, or written agreement before work begins. We provide guidance and production support; final decisions about your book remain yours.

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your province or territory, to use our Services. By engaging us, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

• Quotes are based on the scope and details you provide and may be adjusted if the scope changes.

• Payment terms, including any deposits or milestone payments, will be set out in your quote or agreement.

• Prices are quoted in [Canadian dollars (CAD)] unless stated otherwise.

• Work generally begins after the agreed deposit or payment is received.

• You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

The number of revisions included in a Service will be specified in your quote or agreement. Additional revisions beyond the agreed amount may be subject to extra charges. Revision requests should be made within the timeframe stated in your agreement.

• You may request to cancel a Service by contacting us in writing.

• Refund eligibility depends on the stage of the project and the work already completed. Specific cancellation and refund terms will be set out in your quote or agreement.

• Deposits and payments for work already performed may be non-refundable.

• We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a project, in which case any refund will reflect work completed to that point.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely information and materials needed for the Service.

• Review and respond to drafts and proofs within agreed timeframes.

• Ensure that any content you provide does not infringe the rights of others or violate any law.

• Obtain any permissions, licenses, or clearances required for materials you supply to us.

Delays in providing materials or feedback may affect timelines.

• Upon full payment, you retain ownership of the final Deliverables created specifically for your book, including your manuscript and final cover or illustrations, as set out in your agreement.

• We may retain ownership of any underlying tools, templates, processes, or pre-existing materials we use to create Deliverables.

• Unless otherwise agreed, we may display non-confidential samples of completed work in our portfolio or marketing. If you prefer your project remain private, let us know in writing.

• Content on this Site, including text, logos, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied or reused without permission.

We treat the details of your project as confidential and will not share your manuscript or personal project information with third parties except as needed to deliver the Service or as required by law. We can provide a separate confidentiality agreement on request.

We provide estimated timelines in good faith based on the agreed scope. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by project complexity, the timeliness of your feedback and materials, and factors outside our reasonable control.

Some Services involve third-party platforms, printers, or distributors. We do not control these third parties, and their availability, requirements, pricing, and policies may change. We are not responsible for the actions, decisions, or performance of third-party platforms, including the approval, listing, or removal of your book.

Our Services are provided to support your publishing goals. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including sales figures, rankings, reviews, audience size, acceptance by any platform or retailer, or commercial success. Publishing results depend on many factors beyond our control.

Our Site and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site or Services, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for that specific Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from materials you provide, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
